WAAEYC Recognizes Accredited Centers
WAAEYC ‘s Annual Meeting was held April 15, 2009 in the Gordon Hall at First Baptist Church, Park Ave., Worcester. Attendees enjoyed a hilarious keynote address from the well-known motivational speaker Norm Bossio. Dinner was provided by Oliva’s Catering from Milford.
WAAEYC recognized twenty-seven individual child care programs for achieving accreditation under the new NAEYC system. Three family child care providers were honored as well for having outstanding child care programs. Programs received flowers and a certificate of recognition, and were photographed.
The following family child care providers were recognized: Evelyn Padgett-Niles, Jacqueline Pacheco and Edith Torres.
